New Love

Huge smile, hands shaking, heart pounding, and the feeling of not being able to live without that one person. Yes my friend, it's NEW LOVE! We probably all know how it feels to start a new relationship. It's nerve wrecking and exciting all at the same time. You find yourself speechless and nervous to not scare off the other person. You don't want to make a fool of yourself because you'd hate to look like idiot in front of the new person in your life that you have come to care so much about.

BUT take a breather! INHALE && EXHALE! You've obviously done something right to catch this person's eye and chances are when you first met them because you were yourself because you weren't expecting to fall for them. They've seen something in you that is unlike anyone around because they've chosen you to share this portion of their life with. So be yourself and enjoy each other's company.

I have recently started a new relationship with someone new and I'm loving it. After getting out of a horrible relationship, this new one has been a blessing, but that's a different story for a different blog. Anyways, it's a long distance relationship because I'm at school and he's back home. We try to make it work our best, but being a new relationship, it's more difficult. I find myself in the same position as probably most people in new relationships. I was so quiet and shy at first, but I remembered that he's chosen to be with me. I've done nothing but be my goofy self in front of him and he still chose to stick around. BRAVE GUY! Just kidding. We enjoy every minute together. We talk about anything and everything and there's never a dull moment. I know, you're probably thinking, things are only so great because it's a new relationship, but if you keep things real and be yourself no matter what, you're relationship could go the distance -- if that's what you want.

But honestly, new relationships are great. But always be with someone that makes you happy. Be sure to always be yourself and take it slow. Remember, you have all the time in the world to find someone. Enjoy the feeling of not being able to stand one minute alone without the person. Or not being able to break the gaze you share between each other. Savor the hugs and kisses and not being able to keep your hands off each other. Or texting each other all day and talking on the phone all night. Holding hands and never letting go. Meeting each other's parent's for the first time. Or going on your first date with your new one. It's the fun of new relationships so enjoy it.
